lobbyist John "JB" Byrd recently met with retiring Rep. Jack Kingston
(R-GA) who served
as Chairman of the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Labor, Health and Human
Services, and Education, which has funding authority over the Department of
Labor, including expenditure of funds for Davis-Bacon Act implementation. In an
April 2014 hearing, Chairman
Kingston questioned Labor Secretary Thomas Perez on the Act and survey crews.
